Vstupy studeneého vzduchu z letadla McDonnell Douglas VC-10.

Topení na benzin Eberspacher se systémem voda-vzduch.

Volant a sundavací nába - hliník a plast (akryl), navržené a vyrobené doma.

Přední sedadla Jaguar XJ-S.

Čalounictví interiéru je právě ve výrobě u jedné milé paní z Trutnova.

Téma interiéru, zebra, žirafa, dalmatin, kůže, semiš, dřevo.



Podvozek

2 a 1-5/8 palcové CDS ocelové trubky.

Rozložení hmotnosti 40/60% předek/zadek

Celková hmotnost 1260 kg včetně rezervního kola, komplet nářadí, plné nádrže a 20 litrů rezervního paliva.



Karoserie

Hliníková palivová nádrž (52 litrů) umístěná uprostřed mezi hlavními nosníky a chráněná ocelovým plátem. Protože se nám nelíbí požáry.

Ochranný klecový rám. Sloupky A, B a C zesíleny.



Exteriér

Originální anglická hořčicově žlutá, vyšisovaná československou atmosférou a slunečními paprsky.

Prahy sníženy o 150 mm, což poskytuje úložný prostor pro náhradní válce, ložiska, těsnění a nářadí.

Laminátový kryt motoru GRP od společnosti KS Motorsport.

When I first stripped the engine 4 years ago everything was loose. I am not experienced so I did not think too much about it. I wanted to check everything over winter & found the white metal on the main bearings is cracking because it is being stressed by the bolts..by the way,. I've had a Czech hammer this weekend. 20 pints & 10 shots in Prague on Thursday. Ice hockey in Znojmo Friday, kuzelky Saturday lunchtime with only 8 pints followed by a hardcore metal music concert in Barrakos Slavonice. Now on the bus back to Praha.

It is the same Tatra V8 engine. I took it to pieces just out of curiosity . Good idea because I found problems.

I like that idea but I am re machining the main bearing clamp surfaces & then make new caps & there bore the housings. The surfaces have been badly damaged over the years.

->PTK, Yes it made it to Prague & as far as Austria under its own power. I have driven about 12000km without problems. Absolutely no interest from any police in any country so far.

->Tom troll. Yes I know, it is mad but the job was done right & it is road legal. I just hope they don't close the border before I visit Besiny or Podebrady. The stretched MB & 120 in Sez Usti are interesting. They must be registered as a minibus conversion.

in our country you change wide of tire from 155 to 165 and you become a criminal.

Sad thing about project like this is that is always no more road legal. but if you built car like this and still could it drive legal on the road - the dream comes true.

Holley 465cfm was dead until 5000rpm.

Weber 36 is more driveable but half dead.

Jikov 30SSOP were re built & are dreadful, even on the original intake manifold.

Efi is too expensive.

Supercharger idea is too complex & no benefits.



I just bought 2 used Dellorto DRLA36. They look like big Jikov SSOP so I am not looking forward to fitting them.

My friend lent me an Edelbrock Performer #1405 (600cfm) which fits on my manifold. The car is now totally fantastic to drive and it has the same jets & correctors as a 3.9 litre V8 drag trike. This weekend I will read the Edelbrock manual.



And new side light lenses. I put some new photos in the album.
