Skoda Garde Coupe -1983
- My new daily driven car!
For some weird reason i became an owner of another Garde model. I already had the white turbo, but now also this.
I bought the car in driveable condition but it needs quite a lot work to look good. It is my only roadlegal car at the moment so i can't do big improvements to this at once. Especially at winter! Brrr!
I have some ideas and plans but basicly i just want to clean it up little bit and keep it on the road and running.
Some of you guys maybe already know that iam from Finland so if you can, use English if you have questions :)

So they are only belt and that buckle. Without metal locker (shape as key) (i don't know how it is named in english). You take belt and only place into the buckle and that's all?

I added one picture about the safety belt lockers. They are made in Finland by company called "Klippan" www.klippan.fi/content/..

-> Skury: Thanks, I dont know the exact history of these seat belt lockers. But they are similar in all Finland sold Garde's. I think they are installed by Finnish Skoda dealer. I don't know the reason for that though.

-> vhml: It's actually Dellorto DHLA 40. Iam running 30 chokes, 130 main jets if i remember right and 60 idle jets. It runs pretty nicely, little too rich on low revs but more nicer to drive.
Nice engine. Which setup of Weber do you have? ( jets, chokes, etc. )

Thanks for the comments guys. I like both wheel sets but i think 15" is the right wheel size for this chassis with some lowering the car. The new wheels are KN "Minator". Very similar to Minilites, luckily they are not chinese knock-outs. They are made in England and feel pretty strong and good quality. :)
