-> tony_: For example Tom.t here on virt sells Skoda Rapid shell (skoda-virt.cz/cz/.../). It's little different from Skoda 120 new type shell. He says that body shell is in good condition. His price is 2500 SKK ( = cca 2200 CZK). Shell is now located in east slovakia.
This shell is almost compatible with your engine, axles, but it's recommended to mount wide front and rear axle (Skoda new type) into this shell else your car will look like train (wide shell, narrow axles) and won't have good stability.

In CZ and SK it's not a big problem, but it's problem to find body shell in good condition which is for sale. Another problem is that I don't know if is possible to export such body shell (in SK the only identification mark of car is VIN typed in front par of car under front hood).
But your friend must (should) get same type of bodyshell as he has now. If he find body shell of newer type (1984 and newer) his current axles (1982) are too narrow for wider body shell and car will be more unstable while steering. To the newer body he should mount also new wider front axle with new steering type and wider rear axle.

Most spare parts for 135 engine are available, because this engine is nearly identical to engine of Favorit 135. There are some minor differences, but in my opinion they wouldn't be relevant for buying spare parts.
Deep battery hole is relevant only if you mount rear axle with dry half-axles (newer type). 5-speed gearbox can be mounted with both types of axles (wet half-axles, dry half-axles) but if gearbox was previously mounted with dry type, some changes will be necessary to mount it on wet axle. Of course, if you try to mount 5-speed gearbox with dry axle, you also need this complete rear axle and chassis beam for 5-speed gearbox with mount points for dry rear axle.

Is not possible to mount 5-speed gearbox into Skoda made before 1983, because this bodyshell has some chassis beams placed in way which collides with larger 5-speed gearbox.

Also there is really pool knowledge about lambda sensor and other equipment of fuel-injected Skoda 135 and nearly everything is TOTALY unobtainable.

You can detect type of head only by color of Skoda logo.
105 - black
120 - yellow
120LS - green
130 - brown

-> tony_: There are two types of S120 exhausts. One is like a paper prized about 350CZK and second is more solid, heavier and more durable. Costs about 450CZK and lasts about 2x longer than the cheaper one. If you consider post tax, i would recommend the more expensive one.
