Thanks for the replies and pics.
I plan on building my extra 120 for TSD rallies, NOT stage rallies.
However, the big TSD rallies here are in winter, up north, on bad roads, and are 2-3 days long.
I could probably survive without a skid plate, BUT having one to protect the sump and some of the hoses at the rear would help.
Does anyone ever build a front skid plate to help if stuck on snow?
If anyone else has pics please do post!
Thanks,
Chris

-> Luky: Na mě můžeš česky, but I made a mistake, the right one i for engine and gearbox, the left one is under tank.

Luky
-> radekp: I think that the left part to be used under a gearbox is bit too massive. I think it is quite enough to have the right part appropriately longer to cover both, engine and gearbox.

Nevisí někde knížka o úpravách škodovek od Plška? Tam by něco mohlo být.
-> Christopher: I recommend to attach its front end to the gearbox transom firmly and slightly bend its front rim upwards. Its rear end should be attached to the engine transom and it can be either firmly or with use of rubber silentblocks. However, I do not reccomend to use rubber silentblocks to attach the front end as silenblocks car brake and the skid plate would sink into road surface.
I have it this way on my 1000MB Rallye but now the car is exhibited in a museum and I am not able to take any picture of it.

-> Christopher: I guess this depends mainly on your imagination and material resources :) Just mount it on strong places of body so it works properly. Do you plan to race your Škoda?

Hi,
Does anyone have any photos of Skid Plates built for a 120? I plan on building one, but I would love to see a good one to copy than making it up from scratch.
Sorry for the English...
Regards,
Christopher (in Canada)
